This means that recovery time will be longer and that you will need to have pain medications prescribed. Depending on your medical condition, you will be able to leave the bed in about 5 to 7 days after your cosmetic surgery is finished.

Full activities like gym work, running or cycling can usually be resumed about four weeks following surgery. It will take up to 6 or 8 months until the results feel as if they are part of the body and the patient forgets about them even being there.
